COMPETITION PRIVACY POLICY

DJO Global, Inc. (hereinafter indicated as “us” or "we”) values your privacy. We take care of your privacy and value your trust in us. We will always act in accordance with the provisions of Belgian data protection law.

This competition privacy policy ("Privacy Policy") explains the manner in which we will deal with your personal data, either when you intend to participate in the Competition by subscribing or when you intend to vote for a Participant.

By subscribing to the Competition or by voting for a Participant, you agree to the manner in which we collect and process personal data, as described below.

All terms in capitals in this Competition Privacy Policy are defined in the Terms of Compex Competition, of which this Privacy Policy is an integral part.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS AN ENGLISH TRANSLATION OF OUR PRIVACY POLICY, WHICH IS PROVIDED SOLELY FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE. Depending on your location, please refer to the Spanish, French or Italian version, which shall be applicable to you.

1. TYPES OF PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED

For registration as a Participant to the Competition, you need to create an account and a personal profile by registering on www.compexnolimits.com. In order to do so, we will ask you to provide us with your name, surname, email address, nickname, password and a motivation on why you should win the prize. For the actual winner, we also collect other relevant contact details.

For the purposes of voting for an existing Participant, we will ask you to submit your email address.

Additionally, we collect certain standard information that your browser sends to every website you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and language, access times and referring website addresses.

Please note that by participating in the Competition, you will intentionally expose some personal data by publishing information on social networks.

2. USE OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

We use the information that we collect about you either to allow you to subscribe to our website as a Participant to the Competition (including all emails that will be sent in order to allow you to participate in the Competition) or to allow you to vote for a Participant (including sending you an email for the purpose of validating your vote, and to avoid double votes).

The information collected about you will not be used for any other purposes.

By providing us with your personal data, you explicitly agree that we have the right to store it for the aforementioned purposes.

In no event your e-mail address, user name or password will be communicated to any third party outside DJO Global, Inc. or its affiliates. However, we do have the right to share your personal data with third parties if we are legally obliged to do so by competent authorities, or when this is essential to the protection of our legitimate interests.

3. COOKIES

On this website, we make use of “cookies": small bits of information that are stored by the browser on your computer. The cookies are used to allow you to access your personal account on the website.

Although you can turn off the use of cookies in your browser, this may make the website unusable.

4. ACCESS AND CORRECT RIGHT

You have the right to access your personal data and correct any errors free of charge. You can exercise these rights by contacting us.
